Affiliate Disclosure

How affiliate links work on Photography Launchpad.

Plain-language disclosure required by the FTC and our affiliate partners. Last updated: 2026-05-22.

01

The short version

Photography Launchpad participates in affiliate programs with retailers including Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, B&H Photo Video, Adorama, and others. When you click a link to one of these retailers from our site and buy something, we may earn a small commission. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
02

What this does NOT change

Affiliate revenue does not influence which products we recommend. We recommend gear based on the criteria in our editorial standards — practitioner experience, real-world testing, value, and reliability. If a product fails those tests, we don't recommend it, regardless of whether an affiliate link exists.
03

Programs we participate in

Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate, Photography Launchpad earns from qualifying purchases.
B&H Photo Video Affiliate Program.
Adorama Affiliate Program.
We may add or remove programs over time. All active links are marked as affiliate links.
04

How to spot an affiliate link

Affiliate links on our site go to retailer pages (e.g. amazon.com, bhphotovideo.com, adorama.com) and typically open in a new tab. We also include a per-post disclosure at the top of every article that contains affiliate links. If you'd rather not contribute a commission, you can search for the same product directly without going through our link — the recommendation stands either way.
